Challenges
People in the US generally have no experience, are disgusted, and are uninterested in eating insects. The challenge was to create an identity that highlighted the tastiness and reduced the fear and stigma of insect consumption.
Solution
To differentiate Buggy from other proteins in the market and capture the attention of potential customers, I incorporated Buggy's unique, innovative, and contemporary vision using vibrant colors and bold typography. Rather than relying heavily on insect imagery, which can often evoke discomfort among consumers, I opted for insect illustrations to minimize any negative reactions while still alluding to the product's source. This approach aimed to make Buggy stand out and instantly attract the interest of customers.
